Welcome to the Kartra affiliate program! We’re excited to have you! 

To log in to your WebinarJam/EverWebinar affiliate account you need to navigate to https://app.kartra.com/affiliate/products  then enter the email/username and password associated with your affiliate account. Our affiliate program is managed via our sister software, Kartra. There's no direct login for the WJ/EW affiliate program through the WebinarJam or EverWebinar applications.
 

Can't log in? Here are some common issues that may have occurred: 

1. If you’re using the login screen you will need to enter your email address or username (aka your “domain nickname”). If your email address isn’t working, try your username instead.
2. If you’re copying and pasting your password, make sure you haven’t copied extra spaces at the beginning or end of the string of text. 
3. If you’re typing your password, make sure all the characters are accurate. It’s very common to mistake a lowercase “L” with an uppercase “i” or a “zero” for the letter “O”.
4. If you didn’t select a username (domain nickname) after checkout or were unable to complete your account setup, please submit a helpdesk ticket and select “Billing” as the department. 

If you’re having difficulty logging in or you can’t remember your password you can reset it. 

1. Go to the login screen found here [app.kartra.com/login].
2. Click the Forgot Password link at the bottom. 
3. You’ll see a pop-up prompting you for your username. Enter your username (not your email), and click Reset Password. You’ll then receive a reset password email. 

Note: The email should be in your inbox within a few minutes. If you don’t see it please check your spam and/or promotion folders. 

Once you click the reset password link in the email, you’ll be given a temporary password. Next, please do the following:

1. Copy the password (you’ll need this later!) and click the “Proceed to Login” button. 
2. Log in to your account using the temporary password
   1. To change the temporary password:
      1. Click "Change”
      2. Enter the temporary password, your new password, and your security answer
      3. Click on the pencil edit button next to the password 
      4. Navigate to “My Profile”

If you have difficulty please do not attempt to log in multiple times. Submit a helpdesk ticket using your account email with the following information so we can further assist you:

1. Your Account Email/Username
2. The device(s), browser(s), and operating system(s) you’re using.
3. A video of what you’re seeing/doing when you try to log in. For screen shares, we recommend using tools Techsmith Capture or Loom. They allow you to copy and paste the URL into your message so you can send as many attachments as you need and there’s no chance of  losing one while sending.

Want to change your email? No problem! 

You can easily update the email address associated with your WJ/EW affiliate account. Keep in mind your WJ/EW affiliate account is managed via our sister software Kartra. So, you’ll be changing this email in your Kartra affiliate account and not in the WJ/EW application.  Your email can be changed by doing the following:

1. Log in to your WJ/EW affiliate account: https://app.kartra.com/affiliate/products 
2. Click on your avatar image in the top-right corner of your account, then click on Profile
3. Edit the Email field then click Save in the top-right corner 
4. You’ll then be prompted to provide the answer to your security question

We’re excited  about your interest in our affiliate program!  Applying for the program is  simple:  

1. Go to the section above and locate the "Join Our Partner Program!" box, shown in the image to the right.
2. Click on the yellow AFFILIATE SIGN UP button 
3. Read the terms then click the I ACCEPT blue button at the very bottom 
4. When it asks "Do you have an account yet?" - Click the FREE SIGN UP button option 
   1. Note: This is a very critical step, do not move on unless steps 1-4 have been completed.
5. Fill in your information 

Note:

1. Many email addresses allow for "aliases'' which can help in this scenario. For instance, in Gmail and G Suite email addresses, you can add a + to the username, so example@gmail.com can also be example+affiliate@gmail.com. Google sees this as the same email, but Kartra will see this as two unique emails. 
2. Make sure you also choose a username that you like as you cannot change this later. 
3. Please choose and remember your secret question and answer. 
4. After creating your account, please answer the application questions fully and truthfully. Note: This is vital in our acceptance process!
5. Please allow 1-3 business days for a decision on your application.

As an affiliate fro WebinarJam/EverWebinar, you’ll earn 40% of each re-occurring sale for one year per customer.

You can also earn 10% of each sale from each affiliate you bring in through your JV link.

To apply to the affiliate program return to the section above and click on the AFFILIATE SIGN UP button (pictured below).

Finding you affiliate links is simple.  They can be found inside your account:

To get your affiliate link log into your affiliate account. 

Once logged in to your affiliate account do the following:

1. In the left navigation bar click My Affiliate Promos
2. On the top navigation bar click Promotions 
3. On the top navigation drop-down click Promotions

1. Select the product either by clicking on the product’s icon or choosing from the drop-down menu on the far right-hand side.
   1. Note: If you don't see the product listed, your application may still be pending.
2. ​Click on the MY LINK icon under the drop-down menu on the far right hand side.
3. Click on Your Affiliate Link and copy it.

​ProTip: Most people use the 14-day Trial link as their main link. Both products have "futuristic-looking" icons associated with their names.  Do not use the WebinarJam & EverWebinar combination link as that has expired.  You will see there are version numbers for both WebinarJam and EverWebinar ending with 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0.  Always use the latest version links to ensure you are giving good usable link to your potential customers.

Your affiliate link is your "all-purpose link". That is the main link that you should use to promote. That link will track all clicks and sales associated with it. When promoting, be sure to use your raw affiliate link without using masking links as it could potentially strip your affiliate link's cookie and render the click useless resulting in an inability to track any clicks/sales.
 
Tracking links are essentially a duplicate affiliate link. However, that link will have a specific purpose. For example, if you want to place your affiliate link on your blog and Facebook you would create 2 tracking links for your affiliate link inside Kartra. The first tracking link will tell you how many clicks/sales came from your blog, the other will tell you how many clicks/sales came from Facebook. That way, you'll have better analytics and see where you should focus more energy for higher returns. But, just like your affiliate links, if you use any 3rd party tracking links or masking links it could potentially strip the tracking link's cookie. Therefore, we suggest that you test your links carefully before using them.

Our logos are proprietary and cannot be repurposed in your marketing materials. The use of our keywords is also against our terms of service for affiliates.

The affiliate pay schedule runs on the 15th of every month. There are exceptions to this if the 15th falls on a weekend.  If the 15th falls on a Saturday, you’ll be paid on Friday the 14th. If the 15th falls on a Sunday, you’ll be paid on Monday the 16th.

Note: There is a waiting period between when a sale is made and when you’ll be paid.  All conditions must be met prior to the payment date. For example, if a sale is made today this payment would be paid out 30-60 days post the trial and refund period. 

As a reminder, there are certain criteria that must be met before you’re paid for your sales: 

1. Earned commissions (“Commissions Due”) shall be paid to the affiliate monthly for commissions earned before the end of the prior month provided: 
   1. Affiliate has earned at least $100 (one hundred US dollars) in Commissions Due for the current period 
   2. Affiliate has made at least two sales since acceptance; 
      1. Note: One sale = one customer, rebills are not counted as multiple sales
   3. Genesis Digital has received  funds due and owing from the relevant customer(s) for the current period; and... 
   4. The refund period on the sales for which the commission applied has passed (currently 30 days) 

There are certain conditions that must be met before an affiliate is paid. The conditions are as follows: 

1. Earned commissions (“Commissions Due”) shall be paid to affiliate monthly for commissions earned before the end of the prior month, provided: 
   1. Affiliate has earned at least $100 (one hundred US dollars) in Commissions Due for the current period 
   2. Affiliate has made at least two sales since acceptance; 
      1. Note: One sale = one customer, rebills are not counted as multiple sales
   3. Genesis Digital has received  all funds due and owing from the relevant customer(s) for the current period; and... 
   4. The refund period on sales for which the commission applied has passed (currently 30 days). 
2. A business Paypal account connected to your affiliate account. To get started with your business PayPal account go here:  https://www.paypal.com/business (See How do I set up Paypal in my Account?)
3. Tax information is filled out in full in your affiliate account. (See Update Tax Information)

You’ll need a PayPal business account in order to be paid. To get started with your PayPal business account go here:  https://www.paypal.com/business
 
Once you’ve set up your Paypal business account you’ll need to set this up in your Kartra account as your preferred payment method. 
 
To do this:

1. Navigate to your account PAYMENT SETTINGS: https://app.kartra.com/affiliate/payment_settings/
2. Under Payment Method - Click  the CHANGE button on the far right-hand side. 
3. Click on the PayPal icon. 
4. Click the Connect PayPal button. 
5. Follow the steps to connect your PayPal address to your Kartra account. 
6. Once successful, under WHAT'S YOUR PREFERRED PAYMENT METHOD? Choose PayPal. 

 
While there are other payment options available, we only pay affiliates on the 15th of the month via their PayPal business account. Currently, we do not pay affiliates via other methods.

Looking to update the tax information in your account? To fill out your W9 or W-8BEN, please follow these easy steps:   

1. Log-in to your affiliate account - https://app.kartra.com/affiliate/payment_settings/
2. Click on MY AFFILIATE PROMOS on the bottom left-hand side of the page.  
3. Click on PAYMENTS at the top of the page.  
4. Click on PAYMENT SETTINGS.  
5. While in Payment Settings, under Tax Documentation, click the CHANGE button.  
6. Choose your Citizenship Status in the drop-down menu then click on the button to fill out the W9 or W-8BEN.  
7. Fill out the form with accurate up-to-date information and sign at the bottom to save the document.

Please note: Genesis Digital cannot provide tax advice or further information on filling out the W9 or W-8BEN forms. If you have  questions please speak with a certified tax specialist in your  area.

This is an easy fix!

There are several reasons why someone else would get credited for a sale:

• The last person who clicked the affiliate link gets the sale. Your customer may have clicked on your link, then on the other affiliate's link, then that affiliate gets the sale since they were the last link to be clicked before the customer made a purchase.  
• The customer clicked on that affiliate's link through an ad, on YouTube, or in a blog post sometime before purchasing their subscription. Our affiliate links carry a 30-day cookie that attaches to the lead's browser. 
• The customer may have clicked on your link from another browser, then purchased with a different browser. Your affiliate link's cookie will not transfer to other browsers. 
• When promoting, we highly recommend only using your raw affiliate link. Using masking links or tracking links could potentially strip your link's cookie. Be sure to test thoroughly if you need to use masking or tracking links. 

In the best interest of our customers, we want to make sure they’re happy to use our platforms and are correctly tied to the affiliate of their choice. Our policy is for customers to personally verify which affiliate they’d like to be associated with if there’s a discrepancy. Doing this eliminates confusion regarding who gets credit for them subscribing to any of our products. Customers should direct their emails to jv@genesisdigital.co.
 

Unfortunately, there will be NO commission payments paid on PERSONAL USE sales of the product(s). 
 
This directly violates the Affiliate Terms and Conditions under Compensation: 
 
“A Qualified Action herein does not include any action (i) using the affiliates own link to purchase the product for their personal use.”  

There are multiple reasons why an application to become an affiliate may be denied acceptance.  Many of these issue can be easily fixed.

We recommend you take a look at the common reasons for affiliate program denials (listed below). We encourage you to make updates and reapply when ready. 

1. Fill out your application in full
   1. Include social media link(s)
   2. Include website link(s) 
2. Information on your application must be  true and accurate
3. Information on your application must be detailed and represent you
4. Your website must be professional and organized

The money shown in the Reserve column is earned commissions that have not yet cleared payout milestones. As the milestones are passed , these credits will be moved to the "Due" column. These are funds we’ve not yet received from the customer or their payment processor. Therefore, we do not have those funds to pay you yet. That money is only paid after we receive payment. 

Unfortunately, we don't have a demo account available for potential affiliates or customers. However, we do have a 14-day trial for just $1.

You don't get paid on the $1 trial transaction. You will get paid once the account rebills at it's subscription level and you’ve met the conditions to get paid. If you’re not sure what those conditions are, you’ll find more information in the FAQ: Why Haven't I Been Paid?

We strongly recommend only using your raw affiliate link when promoting. Using masking links or 3rd party tracking links could potentially remove or block your affiliate link's cookie. 

When your affiliate link's cookie is removed or blocked your link will not register any clicks or sales. Therefore, if you must use masking links or 3rd party tracking links, we strongly recommend thoroughly testing before deploying.

Looking for your JV information? You can find the JV affiliates that have signed up through your JV link by following these steps: 

1. Go to https://app.kartra.com/affiliate/jv_analytics
2. Click on the WebinarJam or EverWebinar icon 
3. Click on the SHOW AFFILIATES tab 
4. You're now able to see all of your JV affiliates underneath you. You can see their name, email address, and details about the sales/clicks they've made along with your net commissions from them. 

No, if you sign up to be an affiliate for one product, you’ll need to apply to be an affiliate for each product. But don't worry, this is super easy to do:

When you apply to be an affiliate for WJ, you're also an affiliate for EW.

You’re unable to change your username in Kartra. This is used as a unique identifier that cannot be changed. You also cannot choose the name “Kartra” as part of your username. We strongly caution against using any words that could be misleading as secure.
